Life after TBP

I hung up the “gone fishing” sign on The Blog Propellant only a week ago, but it feels like a lot longer than that. What amuses me are the four new followers. Don’t know what they think will pop up in their Reader, since I clearly stated new prompts will not be posted and that at some point in the not so distant future the site will be deleted. Maybe they are following existing prompts? See if anyone continues to respond with stories?

Anyone care to elaborate, help me solve the mystery?

I’m toying with doing the NaNoWriMo thing this year. On one hand, it would force me to make a dent in one of several stories I have laying fallow in my computer files. On the other hand, I’m pretty sure it would burn me out. And I don’t need to learn how to keep to a deadline. Do that all the time at work.

As you can see, I’m grappling with what to do with this blog. For nearly 2 years it has been a repository for TBP and other prompt responses, so what to do now is also a mystery I need to solve. I love writing; I like blogging. I want to keep on doing both.

What do you look forward to when you see a post from me?

My friends and I are suited up for a happy Halloween.
Hope you have a happy Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, as well!

    1. Tempting. But I have a couple of days in Nov that might turn into more that would take time away in the evening. So, I might do it “in spirit,” but not actually sign up, or whatever it is you do.
